dscobsct: I honestly don't know what's going on with your setup.

rebhana: Thanks for the tip about the LXDE theme. I should probably tweak that so that everyone can change the theme in LXDE. And sorry, I was wrong. It was xkbcomp that caused the problems.

Re: Easy Debian Fremantle Beta Testing

I installed easy debian and it works well, butI can't connect to the web using easy debian although I can using the n900 applications like web browser apps manager. I am using my pc to connect my n900 to the web using pc-connecivity. I tried the usb0 option in wicd but it didn't work.
I have the v3b image file and easy debian 0.9.45-1fremantle1 and easy chroot 0.2.8-2fremantle1 installed.
what can I do?

Re: Easy Debian Fremantle Beta Testing

hstende: Perhaps I should upload my Ubuntu karmic image file for people to try out. If OpenOffice 3.2 is a lot faster or better than the 3.1 version we've got in Easy Debian, I should maybe make it available for everyone...

EDIT: Not a good idea to remove the openoffice GTK package, it removes some nice features like tap-and-hold right-click.

Re: Easy Debian Fremantle Beta Testing

a179: the pc-connectivity package must be using some kind of non-standard hack to get Internet connectivity via USB, because Easy Debian can connect through "normal" methods (wifi and GPRS). Anybody know anything that can help a179?

@qole
It was feeling a bit faster, but maybe it was just a placebo effect:)

A karmic image would be nice if you have one.

I didnt have ether installed but by installing them it worked.

ear0wax: I don't understand; the qmount script only tries to use the dm-loop when it finds the "dm-loop.ko" module. Are you sure you've not installed anything to do with devmapper or dmloop? Did you have an encrypted image set up?
