i installed nfsu today and then browse the ipk file (82mb)of need for speed then click next after some proccess there was a meesage "application is not responding close now" so i closed it and do the same again.ans this time it says" step1: FAILED directory/homw/user/games/nfs/already exist uninstalle previus installation before
step2:unpacking files...
step3:copying files and making symlikns....
step4:creating desktop icon....

and then i clicked next it says "finished the game successfully installed u can find an icon in the aplication screen menu now.have fun!

but there is no icon there in application menu.i restart the phone if icon is miising ut still there is no icon.so how can i unintalle the game now?or any other solution for it(it is not in the application manager to uninstall too)

Among others, i installed Nfsu and Asphalt5 on my n900. They both work properly, but when i exit the game and restart it, i have to start all over from the begining.

How can i fix that?

I tried many things, everything from http://wiki.maemo.org/Preenv/FAQ , but nothing seems to help. Since i didnt install the games with .ipk files, but .deb...

sudo gainroot
cd /home/opt/preenv/usr/palm/applications
chown -R user:users com.ea.app.nfsuc

big problems..had to flash my phone..updated to pr1.3..tried to install preenv and it says depends: libgles1-sgx-img..tried installing the libgles and it says depends: opengles-sgx-img-common (= 0.20091104.34+0m5) but 0.20100611.6+0m5 is to be installed...WTF..can anyone help?..ive installed the ****er b4 but now its bein a *****..when are nokia gonna bring out some proper n900 games ffs!

from what i can make out the opengles has been changed which means i cant use libgles1-sgx-img anymore..when i try to apt-get install opengles-sgx-img-common it says it is already the newest version..this sucks balls!

gonna flash my phone yet again and try installing it with older pr.

Try apt-get update, then apt-get upgrade

I wanted to install other ipks with nfsu installer, as it will by itself install on MyDocs, so, all I have to do is edit the file in opt/nfsuinstaller?
I looked there and it seems to be the case...

yea tried that also..any other ideas?

turned out it is somethin to do with the latest upgrade of pr1.3 it has installed now after flashing to older version
