Ok, let's get the dust off from my account. ;)

I believe that people have often overlook something when analysing nokia's downfall... Even considering the many reasons why the consumer market will, in the end, reject NoWin's Lumia offerings, there's a crap cherry on top:

It's a microsoft offering.

While consumers will put up with windows in their home computers and laptops, since it's simply one of those facts of life (honestly, most in my country never bought a single windows license, so putting up will usually mean simply installing a VLK XP license and forgetting about that), you still have to consider that it's a microsoft product, that is, the offering of a company that has a rather nasty reputation attached to itself.

People don't want any more MS in their lives. Even if for microsoft's well earned reputation of being an unfair player.

If, on top of that, you consider that said offering is rather subpar in comparison to its competition... There you go, gentleman, we have a perfect example of a phone that won't "sell" even if given away...

...as has been the case. Anyways, back on topic...

I wonder whether it'll be better for those holding nokia's papers to wait for it's very likely demise and attempt to get a better price then for the shares they own, or whether it's wiser to sell now and simply bear with the losses.

Actually, where are they offered for free + 100USD? At&t has them for $99 +$100 credit to account until April 21 making it effectively free. Amazon wireless has them at about $50 if starting new account. Not sure if $100 credit holds there....
