I'm not at all sure that this guy was trolling. Sure, at first it looked like that, but when he kept going, it started to look like he was serious (and dumb). But in this case, whether it was trolling or stupidity (or both), bringing facts didn't change the results. But I believe this is why so many people tried.

Bit late then, we've had the same shipment status since last week, the 29th. i.e. shipping to fulfillment centers. We now just have order allocations, which can run parallel to shipping.

Noooooooo! My N900 died today. Or actually didn't die, but at least wounded deadly. I was charging it in my car bench and accidentally put my hand over it when trying to have a brace from the bench. The phone sank to the bench which made a nice craking sound when the whole usb port snipped off. :( I guess I'm going back to Sailfish while waiting the Pro1,

Consider me as being jealous of you having enjoyed your N900 ... for just short of ten years, not!?

Good that the Pro1s have started materializing. ;) Just imagine we were still that bit more in the unknown on that aspect.
Do recall Chen's final remark in Fxtec's recent video concerning the Pro1: "... hopefully you're satisfied with the quality ...". Chen being your fellow (ex-)N900-user ...

What OS were you hoping to run on the Pro1?

I guess this kind of soul can only be hidden behind Internet and I wish everyone of us not meeting those kind in our lives.

While I've refrained from posting on this thread, since my last post was complained about for being off-topic ... even though I was trying to keep it tech centric. I chose to wait till the device came out instead of adding to the noise.

However I think that it inappropriate and off topic to post an image with such offensive offensive slurs and language directly in the threat. For people who just land here looking for device info, they have no choice if they want to see it or not. And will likely just run away.

I would strongly suggest HtheB to move it to another thread or put it behind a link please. I understand that you wanted to prove that shaihkritzer is sending abusive communications directly to you.

But for me this whole thing has left a bad feeling for me. That all we can focus on is complaints, negativity, accusations, and that people who share the love of a silly device call n900 ... could throw around such hateful word that shaihkritzer did ... sad.

If I would guess I would image that being that English is not his native language, he just chose what he thinks is the most offensive terms that would get under ones skin.

I look forward to when the pro1 comes out so we can close and lock or even delete this thread and move on.

Every day a little nerd innocences dies on this thread.

I don't see a point in starting a new thread then. When devices start arriving is the perfect point for discussion, and I don't think previous pages would taint that somehow.

The phone can't come soon enough, I've been fed up of my xz1 for 6+ months now. Running out of ram, losing cache in the browser, generally slow, apps not responding, I've never had this issue with previous phones or the Xperia X I had before this, and this current phone is supposed to be faster and better in every way, double the storage and faster (ufs compared to emmc), an extra gig of ram, lpDDR4x compared to ddr3l.

New batch also being built.

Is there any idea of when the third batch will be done and ready to be expedited from the factory ? I don't ask for an exact date or promise and I don't care if it's next month, but it's just for knowing around when should I sart to obsessively check my emails and the fxtec forum :)

From the context, it probably refers to "Asia Pacific and Australian Continent".
That's a term used in company when dividing operations across geographical zones, like "EMEA" which regroups "Europe Middle East and Africa".

Guess they'll just admit they didn't send anything directly to Asian customers, unlike what what was said by Erik on the official forums.
