Don't do it under root

and if preenv-HD screwed up games for you, the smart thing would be to install the old one.

You just need to chmod 777 once, and only once. After that just execute the script.

doesn't work form me. I copied those 2 files but everytime I execute commands I have responses

can't open weboshd/webos2hd.sh

The file obviously isn't in home/user.

unfortunately its still the same :(
All my other hd and webos games all work perfectly (screen orientation,resolution,touch screen response)

Reckon its either the .ipk or some gconf issue ? though as game runs full screen in menu/options/credits ,that would seem to work ok too?

that describes a similar problem to mine though mine is only game screen not menu etc...
If i rotate phone on game screen the game rotates too but still doesnt respond to touch.Im totally stumped now , will try to find another .ipk today to see if that helps or not . tried 2x ipk so far and both identical file size and identical result...

why don't you install preenv-hd pack? see on post #Here#
follow that faq for the Hd games. Package includes support for standard games and for hd-games you dont have to change libs. the script you was running changes the lib of the preenv package, this package includes 2 kinds of lib

1 for hd games
2 for normal games

for hd games you can run preenv-hd and desktopgen-hd

for normal games you can run preenv and desktopgen

I meant that the screen is working fine and the graphics so good but the paddle cant move with moving one touch on screen
you have to keep tapping on screen to play XD

sudo chmod -R +rwx /opt/preenv/usr/palm/applications/com.HDGameFolder

it shows me no suchfile or directory

You write the path wrong
sudo chmod -R +rwx /opt/preenv/data/apps/usr/palm/applications/com.HDGameFolder

found that openal error is in reference to sound . i get no sound in game at any point which sort of explains that and guess sound should be present.. dont explain anything else though. the other parts of my output i dont understand (output @ my previous post)

should mention using santiago preenv hd to generate icons/play games. only beyondynth not working correctly . got 9 hd games running perfect and 5 standard webos running perfect...

That was just an example. It depends where you have copied your game. Where have you copied it?

hi guys

I want to report some kind of a bug with using preenv and preenv-hd

when execute the command
preenv
preenv-hd
one after another it will inject the libsdlpre.so and libsdlpre-tab.so
any game you will try in same terminal it will say segmentation error

well, I installed seasond HD via webOS so I dont know where is it, in what folder
I think
/home/user/MyDocs/Games/Angry Birds/usr/palm/applications/com.rovio.angrybirdsseasons-hd so should I chmod to this ?
if I do that and next do the trik with

desktopgen-hd /home/user/MyDocs/Games/Angry Birds/usr/palm/applications/com.rovio.angrybirdsseasons-hd/appinfo.json

it says command not executed or sth like this

or just make a copy of libSDL_mixer-1.2.so.0.10.1 rename as libSDL.so

sudo gainroot
cd /opt/preenv/lib
cp libSDL_mixer-1.2.so.0.10.1 libSDL.so

I think is more safe as symlink may give errors on some games
