I can't even imagine the time you dedicated at this project..
Really fantastic! Hand made toys are always the best.

yea haven't programmed in any serious degree in 15 years and back then i used QBasic for a long time (also there i made the script for custom battery indicator, that have also been used here ;) )
So having to learn a lot of C++

But the sword is just the start here, next with that branch of what i make will be Laser Tag weapons with better sound and link so you can play PUBG/CS:GO etc "for real" ;)
And the sword is still prototype as i would like more details in the sword design (a lot of small details in the LEGO Chima series), but my son will get 2 swords because of this :)

And i am so jelly of him :p, i never had any toys like this, and the weapons will have recoil also (strength depending on weapon used), so i have to design a basic weapon that will be used, was looking at Alien Pulse Rifle, but can't make a long light pipe in that... the sword has 50cm light pipe and i want that to be minimum for the best effect

When im done with the final sword it will be on thingiverse for free, final version will have 2x Nano for better sound as in the video and the prototype the sound gets chopped up a bit because of 1 nano having to do all the maths and such for the light, weapon will have 3x for even better sound (2 channels so 1 gun shot can extend as 2 channel takes next gun shot), this will be upgraded to ESP32 DAC system later

None of this is necessary on the N900 cover, well unless we want RGB in it :p, but much of this is something i have to learn as much is going in the car im making

hmmmm, haven't seen this, and what an awesome thing it is, really rethinking the whole 3D print option, well still want a Slide phone

The cosmo also has the option of linux out of the box so no custom roms, has impressive specs tech wise also
