If you are a n900 (and n900 owners only):

If you meet the following criteria:
  • Do not have GoogleVoice
  • Are in the US (or other supported country if any)
  • Are willing to test Dialcentral
I will give you an invite if you PM me with your email address and confirming the above requirement. I have only have 2 to give so spaces are limited. Minimal expectation is you review Dialcentral. Which thumbs up you give is up to you.

You really should look around more. We've also participated in twitter and this forum as well. Our comments are all over the internet.

This is the laziness in me-- but is there any way we could implement a real calendar here, with the ability to send events to email and phones? I am a huge fan of clicking links that automagically update my personal calendars. :D

(Maybe I need to make this a Brainstorm item...)

A link to the extras-testing page should be spammed everywhere, on the front of maemo.org downloads, in the mailing lists, here on talk...

This is the Extras Testing QA link! Spread it far and wide!

(I keep forgetting myself :( )

here's a shorter URL I use for faster typing in emails, tweets, etc. http://bit.ly/extrastesting

That's easy :)
You can use one of the available Freenode web interfaces[1] or one of the several clients, I personally use X-Chat (works in Linux and Windows)

Try to join #maemo one of these days :)

When you evaluate an application, please note that some packages may depend on other user section packages. In that case, kindly evaluate the other package also, because if the depended package is not getting enough karma, it is not possible to promote the actual application either.

For example, mauku [1] and mauku-widget [2] depend on microfeed [3], but there is only few testers who have voted it, although every one who have used mauku application or mauku widget has also implicitly tested the microfeed package.

I think there should be better ways to know these things, and hope it'll change a bit soon. Is there somebody keeping officially an eye on these things that can add a link or modify where necessary?
I'm totally not expert, but if I understand well, somebody voting for a package should automatically know on which other packages it depends and thus vote them too?
Excuse me if I said something wrong or deriving from my inexperience.. :p

And voting can be done only on the webpage of the package right? nothing integrated with the application manager?
