Re: SURVEY: Who's Developing for Maemo5/N900, What, and How - Check-In here

Language/s: Python, PyGTK
IDE: Maemo SDK and various text editors (usually Subethaedit)
Project: MobileHotspot
Progress: ~70% (though reportedly usable), bit stuck ATM with some PyGTK things (which is why I made mceledpattern in the meanwhile, see below)
License: GPL
Distribution: fremantle free
Purpose/goal of project:
"Joikuspot killer" for N900. This project was started before Joiku had announced that there will be JoikuSpot for N900 and is continued out of combination of intellectual curiosity and philosophical reasons (the whole free as in freedom vs proprietary software skit)

Language/s: Vala
IDE: Maemo SDK and various text editors (usually Subethaedit)
Project: mceledpattern (small tool, in mobilehotspot repo)
Progress: 99% (waiting for extras approval)
License: LGPL
Distribution: fremantle free
Purpose/goal of project:
Allow surgical adds/removes of led/vibra patterns in mce.ini via CLI (see this thread)

Language/s: C++ (with qt)
IDE: Geany
Project: Tip Calculator with accelerometer input
Progress: 10%
License: GPL?
Distribution: not even close, but will submit to repositories when functional
Purpose/goal of project: alternative activity to sleeping
Also, see if I can remember enough C++ to do this, learn QT, and write a generalized QT-based shake-to-control class for the world to enjoy.
