Hm there are trolls and there are troll feeders. =\
Personally, I'm leaning towards HD2 at the moment for a future buy. Only reason I haven't bought it yet is because it's not yet available locally. So in the meantime, I'm keeping my options open. N900 seems interesting if not for the resistive touch. And I wish there were more Android 2.0 phones too. |

Re: So,... I bought the HD2
The HTC HD2 only supports 65k colors, which is kinda lame for a nice huge 4,3" (or something like that) screen. The N900 supports 16 million colours. Only 65k colors is so 1990s. Movies, Pictures, Websurfing is much nicer at 16,000,000 colors, than only 65,000.

Re: So,... I bought the HD2
If winmo on the HD2 would be opensource & it would have tv-out, it would be a clear winner.

Re: So,... I bought the HD2
I currently have an HD2, my N900 should arrive in about 3 days, so I can post a comparison here.
RE: 65K colour limitation, in practice it just doesn't matter that much honestly. Mobile-review still rated this the best mobile screen ever - overall I agree (considering touch input, size, resolution, display technology). My i8910s AMOLED screen is just gorgeous, but the extra resolution and size on offer here really outweigh the AMOLEDs superior display characteristics. |
