Ich hab gerade mit dem Nokia Store in Stuttgart telefoniert, der nette Herr am Telefon meinte, dass sie am Samstag 70 N900 geliefert bekommen. Auf meine Frage ob dies sicher sei meinte er - ja, höchstens beim Versand ginge etwas schief. Bin mal gespannt....

But the question why Nokia deleted the date for me still remains.

To be optimistic it might be, because it said, that the PREORDERS will arrive by Nov 25th. And today is Nov 23rd. Thinking realistic it's only because Nokia can't guarantee that preorders from now on will arrive on Wednesday.

Maybe we should all calm down.

that does sound like shippment will start on wednesday or thursday...we will see :)

my g/f kills me, if my n900 is delivered before the weekend :D:D

edit: I wrote a second email to hoh, because the last email was from last week.

I'll nevertheless wait until it's available at amazon. I had bad experiences with some devices i bought directly at brands' shops (not only with phones) in questions of guarantees.
Amazon's service is better imho.

i have emailed Mindfactory on this, and they say it is just an estimation which they cannot promise. we will only know when the day come.

ich habe eben den Nokia Online Shop angerufen. Die Dame sagte mir, dass das Datum herausgenommen wurde, weil die deutschen N900 im Logistikzentrum eingetroffen seien, und nun an die Vorbesteller versandt werden. Ich als Express-Shipping-Käufer sollte es noch diese Wocher Zuhause haben, die Käufer mit normalem Versand am Freitag oder Montag.

It says: Tenative delivery date: 27.11.2009

According to the press release of Nokia Austria the N900 is available by end of november. We don't have a Nokia operated store here. So they have to ship it to distributors. I think the date ist true. They want to have it in stores on monday the 30th.

I think germany will get it a bit earlier. Somtimes this week maybe.

Maybe they use a content management system and gave this paragraph an expiration date to vanish just before the oficial delivery date. This is what I would do.
