is there no one who can help out this project? It really would be a shame if this project dies out now we allready are able to get it working!

I would really like to see all games working on this!

what kind of programmer can modify this emulator for n900?
maybe i can find somebody to help.
but i have to know what kind of person i need to turn to.

Your best bet for speed is someone with OpenGL ES knowledge. As it is now, the CPU is trying to balance emulating two processors and all the rendering. I'd contact the developer first though as he'll know more in depth what really needs doing.

:C ...seems like another project has gone into the wind ;C ... looks like the pcsx emulators gonna be next :S ...my hopes are getting real low pertaining towards emulators on n900, real real low, where are the developers???

i think all developers went to MeeGo. something i am afraid of for some time now.

can anyone confirm that desmume is removed from the repositories? i cant download it anymore

Many of the developers have been working on MeeGo for months now, they have in a few posts here and there pointed out that the coding for MeeGo will allow for if not native, at least easy porting to Maemo 5.

Or you can convert the device to MeeGo when the public option becomes available. Some emulators have classically had issue's being brought to the mobile platforms BTW [PDA's, Phones etc ...]. DS, PS1 and PSP emulators being the big ones. They require a lot from the host systems to emulate.

I remember fiddling with pcsx on my pocket pc [iMate JasJar] and being more or less underwhelmed. Love the NES, SNES and GBA emulators though good work on them.

Could somebody please explain to me how to compile desmume or, any app in the maemo5 sdk?
