i feel sorry for the maemo community... it used to be a very professional place to ask and talk about stuff related... even if in off topic but this is just lame... are the modderaters asleep? or r they too just waiting for someone to post some videos... way to go maemo.org.

OTOH, while we wait... can't we start a community project for a more professional "nature film"? you know: develop a script, cast the actors* (?), find a set where all would come together (nokia sponsored?)... sounds like the most natural extension of the community outreach programe. :p

*) did we ever have a "mister maemo"/"miss maemo" election? best looking members of the community? we have the voting infrastructure in place...

How is this thread any inferior to threads where people post boring pics about their kids doing average hobbies mediocrily? Or threads with Sketch drawings.

It's just people using their N900 and wanting to share. Absolutely nothing wrong with porn, especially the kind that's homemade.

EDIT: ffs you joined February 2010. This place wasn't anymore professional 30-60 days ago.

Yeah, the only N900 porn movies we needed back then were:

• How to install high-capacity batteries in your device
• Proof of concept running Win95 or Mac OS/X on the N900
• Pimped-up desktop widget demos
• N900 drop test videos
• and that moving-pixel Liqbase thing

eiffel that moving pixel liqbase thing is still in motion, but i've been preoccupied helping PR1.2 for a while now.
:) helping the whole OS and everyone is a little bit more important but its not gone away and is close to my thoughts and code fingers..

The only way to make the movie universally offensive is to have the actors/actresses say negative things about maemo/n900 while they're doing it :D
