in the end of config file there is line "tap mode = off", you must change it to "on" and delete "#" it should work for long tap right click |

Ok, got it working.
Uploading to extras-devel now. fheroes2_0.5-maemo-12 will have longclick for rightclick. You need to change the row # pocket pc = off to pocket pc = on in your fheroes2.cfg to enable longclick. |

Checked latest version - couldn't reproduce debug mode issue, so hopefully it's gone. Tap mode works like a charm.
Noticed interesting thing - when in battle you tap on a monster you can reach, a popup menu shows up. It contains all possible positions to attack and a question mark. This is extremely cool since it makes aiming with dragons on the go much easier and enables force melee attacks with titans. The problem is that question mark wouldn't show monster stats. Another interesting thing I noticed is "config" button in start game menu. It contains a lot of useful settings (confirm save file overwrites, in-battle settings) and several useful mods, like buy units from well screen. This config seems to work well, however, it's not being saved upon exit, which makes me sad. One more issue - I'm not able to input numbers using the keyboard. Not sure if it's worth fixing, unless there are some gate passwords that contain numbers. And once again, thanks a lot for porting and maintaining the game, I can play it forever, which officially makes my N900 a gaming device. |
