hmmm... Don't really know what's happening.. I have gotten "asphalt 5" 3.1.7 version (also tried 3.0.8) I can install it fine.. but when I open it, it doesn't open "asphalt 5".. it opens "asphalt 3: Street rules".. and it opens it in a windows thats not even half the screen and the text is scrambled in it... I can't even get to actually driving in the game.. I don't get it..

I have downloaded it from links that I am sure have the asphalt 5 3d version. (like the link on aligatros signature)

Someone had a problem with his htc Hero when he installed asphalt 5 he got asphalt 3.. he posted about the problem and got this answer:

"Hi, im sorry to inform you but asphalt 5 was design for high end android devices hence htc evo,samsung galaxy S, motorola droid etc which can handle open Gl ES 2.0 graphics, when you buy asphalt 5 on a low end device like your htc hero which can only support open Gl ES 1.0, the apk will automatically detect this and install asphalt 3 which is the java alternative for low end android devices, let me know if this help you resolve your inquiry regarding asphalt5, if not i will do my best to help you solve further issues."

wtf? why do I get asphalt 3 also??

Have you changed the LCD density by any chance as this happened to me when I amended it from 160 to 200. When I changed back to 160 it opened Asphalt 5 correctly in full screen.

I can't type numbers from the virtual keypad for some reason...

Anyone experienced this?

I think if you install version 3 first and then try to install version 5 it will still launch the version 3.

you can also play it with 240 density
it's better than 160 and 200 as with 240 density most of the games will work good and full screen

but it's a bit harder to read things when on 240
btw, asphalt works on 160 and 240.

hey, can someone tell me how to change the lcd density to 240 in NITDROID because most of my game are not fullscreen..
