yes it worked before.

Do i chmod the file in mydocs game folder or the symlinked game folder in opt?

OK if it worked before then I think that you might need to check that the first post has been done correctly-

With

nano /usr/sbin/mmc-mount

Can you see 'noexec' and 'fmask0133'?

There must be some security reasons to why nokia prevented execution from emmc.
It's a great hack and I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering if there is any downside to it....like something else breaking?

My most humble apologies D4rKlar,

the way i read all this from the 1st post and onwards was that i thought you had found a new and better way to do this through filebox with the symlink option and that we didn't need to do the hack from the 1st post.

So i have wasted 2 hours of my day off and wasted your time with you having to keep checking this thread to see where i am up to.

Nada, which makes this completely epic.

The ONE drawback I can think of that has been mentioned is the fact that obviously your game bits will show up in media player...

.....but that can be resolved using the Tracker app I posted a link to earlier :D

You can use it to edit which files are watched although I've really not had any time to work out exactly how to do it! I'd have a look for a tracker Cfg thread, that's what I'm going to do when I've got a minute :D

Thanks to D4's tip this worked out perfectly. Download the above mentioned app from dev (usual warnings apply). Launch the app and then scroll down to No Watch Directory

Then click on the Add button and navigate to /home/user/MyDocs/Games (that's where I installed my games) and then click OK.

Last but not least click on the top where the title of the app is and click on Rebuild Databases

That's it! If you open your media app you will see that the videos from the games are gone and if you open your photos, you will notice that the game photos are gone as well. Keep in mind that it will take about 40-60 sec to rebuild your database after you click on the button.

can somebody PLEASE make a installer for all the working games PLEASE PLEASE

its just to hard to understand for a noob for installing the games

its not fair against the noobs

i want this palm pre webos game pleasure too

i hope u guys understand what i mean

i have only 1 game to play thanks to nfsuc-installer and so i was wondering why it cant do the same with all the working games???
