Well, seems the new /home is not mounted properly, so lots of stuff is not available for the rootfs basic system. Right now i am stumped, how to access the files like /etc/fstab to correct things. But no need for nokia customer care as you could flash the firmware using fiasco-image to get a working phone and then apply the last steps to format the partition for MyDocs. |

now were do I start? :) thx for the interest ^_^ EDIT: now I chked the memory it says (device) memorycard corrupted and for the memory for installable applications is 1.28gb which seems normal to Me now..is it?? |
Re: How to restore partitioned n900 emmc??!!
This is were you format /dev/mmcblk0p1 , because of the missing file system the memory card is noticed as corrupted.
First you have to install rootsh again. Then Code:
sudo gainroot |
Re: How to restore partitioned n900 emmc??!!
Just as I thought /mnt won't be recognized by fstab as a temporary /home partition... So what happened is the device can't see all the necessary images, fonts etc. under /home cause it wasn't mounted at all.
If I only saw that post I should have suggested to add a line in /usr/lib/genfstab.awk Quote:
