i got a major problem (a bug) just now....my HD just wont rotate anymore....
ok let me start from beginning....i open x-term then i...

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade

i upgrade HD as suggested...exit x-term then test HD it works fine....reboot my device just to make sure...still works....a few hour after that i use Optimize N900 to refresh all...after that my HD didn't rotate anymore...

i have try turn off/on no luck....
i have try tunning the CSSU tuner (disable/enable force rotate) but no luck...
i have try reinstall HD still it wont rotate anymore....my apps does rotate but my HD wont....

please help.....

i found a new bug. when i lock my screen in landscape mode then open browser and then when to move my phone to portrait mode it hides the address bar and is shown same as it was in portrait mode but it is in landscape mode. please help.

If I’m inside a folder (created with ApMeFo) and rotate phone, desktop is rotating but is getting back to main menu.
Some apps crash if launch from portrait (CloudGPS, Neverball, Neverputt, Inner Spin)

try re-installing the deb because i think you've updated it with the normal non turning desktop.

some member update the HD after installing HPD the rotation works fine & so do i...i reboot,turn off & turn on couple of time after updating still desktop rotation works fine....
as i said my problem came up after i use Optimize N900...now my HPD wont rotate anymore...i have try reinstalling normal HD with killall hildon-desktop command in x-term then install back HPD + updating but still it wont rotate...
my best solution right now is install HPD without updating the HD...

The latest build solves half of the problem I first reported in the original thread, with hildon-desktop.

Now:

1.When first rotating, locations of icons and widgets is messed up. Fix this.
2. All icons and widgets remember their place.
3. When rotating, all icons and widgets are in place, *except* hildon-desktop, which does not remember its location after reach rotation.
