Re: overclocking kernel modules for PR1.2
Yes, but tell them to come here to get the lastest version, otherwise they could get a 404 or old version.

Re: overclocking kernel modules for PR1.2
Of course I will update it.
I just did... now it just ignores you if you type a number that works out to < 800mhz or > 1.7ghz because it's hopefully a typo. |
Re: overclocking kernel modules for PR1.2
nice topic, i missed it.
so, can you provide info about reducing frequency for longer working time? i'm not playing games, watching movies etc. on mobile, just using web and IM's. |
Re: overclocking kernel modules for PR1.2
Do anyone feels an increased performance ? Is it faster ? I didn't overclock my n9 so far and I'm asking this because I don't think +200mhz would make a noticeable difference .

+100Mhz (there is no stable +200Mhz at least with current module) gives you boost on cpu calculations, like if you run and compile applications with gcc inside the device. Or on heavy database operations. But as end user you most likely don't notice anything on UI, since UI usually runs at 300-600Mhz and most usecases don't even need the governor to put 1GHz on. Most of the drawing is done with GPU and sw rendering only happens to special situations. |

That will force your phone to run only as 300Mhz at all time. |
Re: overclocking kernel modules for PR1.2
and no need in this modules? hm. need to try
seems like working, thanks. |
Re: overclocking kernel modules for PR1.2
