You need to have the app focused for the volume buttons to work.

Is it possible to set the starred songs Offline?
or does it do this automatically already? Couldn't find it (Maybe an option to turn this option off?)

That's coming :).

Seems to work very nicely, good job. Scrobbling to last.fm would be a very welcome feature, otherwise it has everything I need.

Yeah, I had to remove the old Last.fm support code that MeeSpot had because it was incompatibly licensed, but libspotify apparently now includes some scrobbling support, so I'll attempt to bring it back through that.

Why is that so?... That's a bit crippled if you ask me ....

Unfortunately Sailfish doesn't integrate with QAudioOutput like it does with QMediaPlayer, so the volume control has to be handled manually by the app listening to volume key presses, which are only received while the app is focused. I've logged a bug for that in the new together site, so hopefully it'll get fixed at some point in the future: https://together.jolla.com/question/...-qmediaplayer/

Still seeing the overlapping of the search box when in a playlist (though this is a very minor cosmetic thing).

Album and artist search are actually already possible, it's just that the UI is a bit buggy, you need to select them twice in the search type combo box on the to actually change it if you've already started searching, the same is true of the combo boxes on the results pages..

For the most part the search seems to work but there seems to be a bug in search if you continuely try to search without selecting the results.

Other than that looking good

*edit* meant to say that this search bug kills the app completely

Donated!

I just noticed one bug. When song changes CuteSpotify will cut couple of seconds from end of song.

And one "request". When clicking album icon/name on bottom of screen it will be nice if it opens bigger album cover with bigger play/skip/stop etc buttons and so on like it's in many other spotify clients.

Should be fairly obvious my post was before the volume setting was enabled... :D
