SE P990, SE P800 before it and Nokia 7110 before that (and a 3210 when I was a kid). I change phones every 3-4 years.

What was it... Some fruit logo was printed on the back and it claimed to have 3G, which never worked. Oh - it was the music player with a bolt on "phone", iPhone 3G.

The last phone I bought before the N900 was an iPhone 3GS. I owned it for exactly 30 minutes. I only bought it because my telco subsidized it a lot, so I could make a handsome profit immediately selling it off (effectively funding my N900), so yes, I can say I upgraded from iPhone to N900.
The last phone I really used was my beloved E61i. For all the wonders of the browser on the N900, I miss the speed of Opera Mini. |

Started with a 9500 in 2006, switched to E90in 2008 and now am happy with N900. :)
I'm still missing the keyboard of my former devices. But having the choice between a big keyboard and a dual-screen on one hand and a small keyboard and a single screen on the other, I'd always prefer the latter. |

I had a HTC Touch Pro 2
Personalized by cooking ROM through ppc kitchen running WM 6.5 with skyfire as the browser. Thought its was great until I used the N900. |

SPV M2000 - If you let the battery go flat, you lost everything. Went back to brand new phone state XDA Graphite - Terrible phone, totally unusable out in daylight. GLOWFIISH x500+ Really good hardware hampered by windows. N95 8GB - Brilliant phone but needed a larger screen for web. N900 - Great phone |

Before the N900 I had a BlackBerry Storm that I still hate. Its screen broke twice for no reasons. It just went black... however, it was a crappy phone and I decided that BB phone are not for me. Before the Storm I had a Nokia N80 which helped me pass all exams. Good phone!

I've had alot of different phones, I'm not sure the order is correct between the 6310 and 6280 but other then that it looks right. I loved Nokia before Symbian came, after that I got hooked on SE, wich I think is still great. But I had to get the N900, Linux<3

I had (still have) an HTC Athena / X7501, a very big device with a 5" touchscreen and a magnetically-attached keyboard. It has Windows Mobile 6.1 and although it has an excellent hardware, it's not upgradeable. :( And as it is too nerdy, I can't even sell it easily. It won't fit most pockets.

Agreed that the phone SW is unpolished at launch, but with recent updates, it's getting better, just like its N95 sibling

I bought the Samsung SGH-D500 in late 2005 and used it until Feb 2010. Therefore I felt worlds between my old and new "phone" :D. I hope I'll have the n900 as long as I had the D500... |

Nokia 6210, Sony Ericsson K750i (great one!), Sony Ericsson W890i (worst mobile phone ever!!) and then the N900 :)
Before the N900, I only had a mobile phone to have a clock :D |

last phone was the n97, was satisfied with it even though it had it's set of problems
before that it was the nokia 5800, SE g900i (worst phone EVER), SE k810(i?), n72 (nokia's shame imo), nokia 6630, some nokia phone, nokia 3330, nokia 3310 (i think that was the number), alcatel easy touch |
