In other moves to promote informative threads, threads in off-topic,competitors and the new "barbecue yard" should not not get promoted to "active topics" sidebar.

Isn't this exactly what off topic is half the time? Btw, off topic threads do not show up in the active topics sidebar. I think competitors should continue to show up there b/c a lot of the time interesting news/topics show up there. |
