I installed Kasvopus 1.2.2 but still can't log in. All the time I have info that user name and password don't match

to all having trouble installing kaspovus or even fMobi on your device here is some tips to make the apps/program running on your device....
1.do not install the program first (kaspovus or fMobi).... 2.install libqtm-11 & libqtm-12 & mcsp first....then install kaspovus or fMobi on your device.... i know this because i just reflash my device 1 hour ago then re-installing one by one apps/programs on my device.... i got no problem login on my device on kaspovus & no black/white screen on fMobi...no crashing what so ever.... |

i use FAM (categories-advanced/all packages) to install libqtm-11 & libqtm-12 + Mcsp.... since you already have libqtm-12 installed i suggest you remove (purge) it along with kaspovus & fmobi then install libqtm-11,libqtm-12 + Mcsp.... re-installed kaspovus & fmobi after you have installed all the files above.... |

i did install libqtm-11, libqtm-12 & mcsp, but when i try again to install kasvopus, it says "applications packages missing: libqt4-declarative
libqt4-opengl libqtcore4 libqtgui4 libstdc++6 so plzz help mee thxx |

Hello, I just installed kasvopus 1-2-2. I had the error everyone was having on this thread, but I solved adding the QtComponents repository.
I found it in the signature of another user in this forum (I can't recall his name now). The repo is the following: Name: QtComponents URL: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/41252806/maemo/ Distribution: fremantle Components: oss non-oss source Have fun! It works really well :) |

Hi!
I managed to install Kasvopus, from here http://kasvopus.substanceofcode.com/ I installed some pre-requisites via the terminal, using the commands - root then apt-get install libqtm-11-declarative It downloaded everything necessary (I think) and then Kasvopus itself installed, however, after running it I was disappointed :S It looks nothing like on the screenshot on the website, and it runs veeeery slowly. It looks as if I was accessing Facebook mobile with Opera, but it's a lot slower, and wont scroll down propperly. Could it be possible that some other pre-requisits are missing? (if so, how did the app managed to install and run?) Thanks for your help in advance! |

I did reset approvals on Facebook and when I opened the Kasvopus he carried the entire GUI application after approving all permissions. Go to Facebook through MicroB browser. Log in and go to "Privacy Settings" <> Ads, Apps and Websites (Edit Settings) <> Turn Off. Reset all applications and re-enable the option to "Turn On". After this process, open the app and login Kasvopus normally, install and approve the permission options. Well .. Worked with me!:) |

When giving access to facebook, it loads a page that says "success" and nothing more, then the program is stucked there and if i go back i have to re-enable permissions on facebook and ended in the same page. If i check from computer, facebook permissions are ok, but the same happens to me with other app (ebuddy xms) so i'm not sure if i'ts a fb problem, phone problem or app problem

I installed the libraries and Kasvopus but I can't start it. I can remove it from the App Manager.

app not working: entering have a circle reboot - UI-account page-UI-account page... I cant input my mail & password. I know facebook change their API.
Can anybody fix it? |

I get the login screen for a second in german && than the app comes over the screen and turns the error bad request,, tried to press logout but same story.. Anyone knows how to fix this error..? Would be nice to have a working fbapp on my N900

Hello,
I learned about this app after I installed a preview release of Nemo/SailfishOS and it came preinstalled. However, I cannot log in either. I mean, I could log in with the Maemo version by forcing Kasvopus to stop at the login promp - however, I'm receiving Facebook Bad API (400) errors even after login. In Nemo, login is not possible at all. Is there any chance to get that fixed? I'd guess that IF people spent time to port this app to SailfishOS, maybe someone could also find some spare time to update the API-request to the current Facebook API? Thank you in advance. Chris |
