Well, mitakuuluu rules! :):cool:
Beside a few points that are being polished, I appriciate mitakuuluu very much. A feature I did not discover and was on my wish list is to be able to quick jump in the contact list. That's possible! Just like the date bar:
http://qatsi.ath.cx/~ravdberg/jolla/...0106155239.png
Keep a finger at the right side move up or down a bit et voila!

Gimp'ed contact list:

Coderus you are great! :cool:

Sailfish / Jolla "People" should have that feature too.

Ok, I will check why it does not allow…

I tested with another account. I granted reviewer access for the account and I couldn't find any issues. Changing translations is possible, unreview and review of translations is possible.

No need to lock when working online with those. Locking is needed if translation will be done offline.

It has been disabled in latest releases because of defects in SailfishOS. Rotation from portrait to landscape and landscape to portrait does has some defects.

Yes I did, but currently I am not registered in any whatsapp client AFAIK.

Edit: Never mind, i got it sorted by installing again android's whatsapp, and correcly removing my account from the UI and re-registering with mitäkuuluu, thanks for all.

I wonder why there wasn't any information about the failed registration, just infinite loop.

Whatsapp isn't perfect too. I installed and registered with Mitakuuluu before deactivating the whatsapp account on the android phone, but having the android phone off.

After starting the android phone - without SIM card, whatsapp kept nagging about wrong account until removing the whatsapp account from the android phone

I finished Greek translation.
If Greek is supported in next version, I will check how these lines fall in the UI.

When I select a translation, I can't go back to English, unless I delete the locale line in ~/.config/coderus/whatsapp.conf. Is it a bug?

Can you Please tell us how Mitakuuluu is generating the Password?
I hope it's something more secure :)

You can always just rename it yourself in the .desktop file in /usr/share/applications.
Change 'Mitäkuuluu' in the name to something else you want.
Of course this only changes the name of the launcher icon and you would have to do it everytime you update the app :-)

Code:

[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
X-Nemo-Application-Type=silica-qt5
Name=Mitäkuuluu
Icon=harbour-mitakuuluu
Exec=harbour-mitakuuluu
X-Desktop-File-Install-Version=0.20

Neither is coderus finnish and he still decided to name it in finnish. :cool:

It changes to ar.qml (according to whatsapp.config). Deleting that specific line changes it back to English though. Not a very nice solution, but it works.

@jayki Mitakuuluu not generating password. Since WhatsApp protocol reached v2 password is generates on server side randomly on every registratiion.

Re: [v0.1-19] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread

Not sure if it's a bug, so I haven't reported it yet in the tracker... but yesterday I noticed that three people were shown as "online" in the contacts list. This morning I discovered that the same three were still shown as "online". I disconnected and quit Mitakuuluu and after restarting they were no longer shown as "online". I had received messages in the night, so I must have had connection.

Maybe just a glitch, I will report it if it happens again.

richhanz 2014-01-08 09:08

Re: [v0.1-19] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread

My impression is that it depends on the app the contact is using. Contacts using an Android or Windows phone it takes a (long) while before the contact shows offline. Going to the home screen from Mitakuuluu you're immediately showed offline.

Yes, I can confirm. Only from pulley menu the top "close"-option and then start the app updates the real situation.

Dont think it is related to platform, in sense that from every OS people are sometimes randomly shown online when they are not actually online.

I saw on the Public Bug Tracker in the Issue # 61 that the problem was fixed in v0.1-18.

But when somebody write in a group, the contact is also shown on the conversation list.

Is it not even fixed ?

Thank you very very much :)
