First ones get it first. Others maybe in couple of hours.

It usually takes a couple of hours to get the latest update in my case. Also, if you don't leave enough time between checking for updates, the store process stays active in the background (not sure for how long exactly) and doesn't actually check for new updates.

for me it's usually around 4/5 hours before I get notification for an update.

that went smooth, mine is up to date.
Skipped the opt in beta.

Copy paste from Android Firefox to Sailfish Conversations works! Major convenience upgrade.

thank you Jolla.

Where did you hear that U11 would be the 2.0? I thought 2.0 would come around the same time with the tablet. If Jolla gets back on track with update/month, that would mean 4-5 updates before 2.0

Not sure about w and x, but I'm quite confident there are some starting with y, ä and ö.

these come after v in finnish alphabet??? in polish ą comes after a, ę after e etc, weird

edit: really hope this isn't some kind of placebo effect of fresh update but so far no misclicked links, did the greatest nuisance finally been fixed?

Seeing that loading circle really bothers me. For os that's based on native code with no virtual machines or java, application should not have such loading.

Applications can't really start out of thin air.

288 MB of updates on my device, starting from the 'opt-in' Update 9.
Upgrade went fine.

They come after letter z. And actually it seems I was close in my guess, but I underestimated another another scandinavian letter, å.

This is the best new feature for me in daily use:
Quote:

Double 'click' on Power key when phone locked makes the lock dialog appear (if no lock in use then directly to home view)
now we only need triple click to go to the last open app directly :D

i really loved the way it worked on N9 / N900 :(

at least, now we don't need to swipe up every time, to go to the last open app

oops, no lake starting with z either, so 4 updates left until jolla runs out of alphabet
(was keyboard updated? seem to make lot less typos)

You have to wait an extra hour for each offtopic post you made in this thtead.

Then it would be zero hours for me(if only this thread is included). Or do I have to take the blame for all members off topic posts as well?

Hey stskeeps. How do the update process works? iMEi, country, languge, puré luck?

"Update: Do not use alphanumeric lock code feature yet. Release roll-out on hold to fix an issue discovered w.r.t it."

Quote:

We've received reports from some of our users that they got the device into a state where it could not be unlocked while testing the alpha-numeric lock code feature introduced with this update. We've decided to withhold rolling out of the release to more users until we fix this issue.

Our developers are checking this right now and hope to find a hot fix for it soon. Unfortunately, those who have already faced this problem will need to contact Care. Depending the situation, they may be able to help you out without needing a visit to the service centre. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

The update process has been brought to a halt due to the bug in alphanumeric lock code:(

with very limited testing it seems so, at least rerender seems to be reliable in signalling you can click safely now, unlike previously, old tabs seem to be reloading though now, not sure if from cache

Woo now I wonder how it will end with me?
I encountered the dreaded "progress bar hangs about 65% thru when updating" and had to do factory reset via rescue mode.

Now I am just done downloading the 1st update. Will the last one offered be Uitukka or am I going to be able to load Vaaranjärvi again, since I already downloaded it once...?

--- Edit ---

Yes, seems it does indeed let me download Vaarainjärvi 1.1.126 even when I started from scratch :D
Well done Jolla!!
