Downloaded videos should be in your Media Gallery. Opening them there should open them with the default player.

Marxian - I remember you mentioned releasing an update with the ability to view videos by category. Any updates/plan on when you will be able to implement this.

cutetube rocks! best you tube player available for the n900. a must have on every users app list. good work marxian, keep it up.

I put it on the media gallery, then try to open from the media player and say "invalid format" (not exactly like that but that's basically the error).

If i looked in the folder then try to open, say exactly the same.

I put it first on a folder in my sd card and say the same error.

I guess i doesn`t matter the quality of the video i put (i have it on 480p) or that`s the problem?

I hardly ever watched youtube videos on my n900 until this app.

You can choose a category for the most recent/most viewed feeds in the settings. The current Python/Qt version of cuteTube is deprecated, as I'm working on a QML version. This will be released alongside the existing version until it is feature complete and ready to replace the existing package.

One of the things I would like to implement is the ability to customise the home screen, so users can choose two feeds that they can then access directly from the home screen.

Riding my battery out almost daily watching videos through cuteTube, so I can't wait to see the mentioned QML version.

But please make sure that cuteTube doesn't attempt to play videos in portrait mode if it can't fully support it. Now my video will come to a terribly stuttering total halt when I close my keyboard and tip the device the slightest.

The mentioned upcoming feature of seeing subscriptions from the homescreen directly is my only featur request for cuteTube that hasn't happened yet. Can't wait!

You can disable orientation through the settings menu (last option).

What am I doing wrong when you search out the video to find other video related to the topic I was looking for. Can I download the previous version somewhere Cutetube? Previous looking for the right

i'm getting invalid media too when i try to watch downloaded youtube videos from cutetube. any way to work around that?
