Dear Reggie,
It looks to me that not only this thread will be closed... the whole maemo is going down as well.

pr1.2 is the last update we will ever see. Meego will not support n900 either, probably people will port stuff and etc. But nokia is dropping support for both maemo(merged with mobiln) and n900.

Nokia is supporting a community-built MeeGo for N900. To be honest, I prefer that approach.

Also, I fully expect a Maemo update for Qt 4.7. But that's just my assumption.

By community you mean bunch of developers supported by nokia to develop a "open source" os...

I dont see anything open in this OS... its impossible to obtain the source code... please tell me what community? what open source? what are you talking about?

All devs will be moved to meego and thats it.

I only have a last beg: as long as this thread will de closed, (and I agree with that action), could the admins give us some kind of "this thread will be closed in one hour" post?
Dave999 could then post "the end", Laughingstok could give us Britt... smyle, NukNuk could marrie with me and my wife, n-mi show us his boobs, Texrat ban all of us, etc etc etc...

Should I download the Global version of PR1.2 or the US version?
