Oh, I don't want to impede on anyone's health, so I'm charging it right now. Have been looking for a case to use, because it feels about as slick as my office phone, which keeps slipping out of my hand and pockets all the time (unlike my older phone with a rubber-like exterior). Was looking at this one: http://www.fommy.com/view-full-page....00&skuno=85902 (someone posted a link earlier), unfortunately shipping will be more than twice the value of the case and thus suddenly expensive and way above the price point where taxes and VAT hits.

Wohooo i got the shipping confirmation. Anyone in north america tell me how long it takes to get here and do i need to pay any customs?

I just got the device and opened the box. It's charging now. The mic seems fine.

Got my N900 today. Unfortunatly it has an area of pixels which are permanently on. I already emailed to DDP. Hope there is a good way to exchange the device. But beside this the N900 ist really fun!
I hope we don't have to accept dead or permanently on pixels because it's a developers device. The pixels are well viewable and it's really annoying on dark backgrounds.

I ordered yesterday evening,received shipping notice and tracking number today and i expect that it arrives tomorrow. :)

I ordered on 12/8, in less than 48 hr, the package already left Helsinki-Finland....kind of wondering why there are 700+ postings :rolleyes:

Hopefully a newer version of WorldTV99 is coming... :-)

Its been in the New York City-Gateway for almost 12 hours. :(

I hope it's not just sitting on a bench in the Port Authority or something. I mean we've all heard the horror stories:

Young and attractive phone from a small town like Keilaniemi hits the bright lights of NYC and is confused and feels alone. A stranger picks it up, buys it a sexy screen protector and the next thing you know he turns out the phone and it's on the streets doing connection "tricks" for a dollar a KB...
