I haven't experienced any freezing/rebooting, but there are some memory management issues with the current version in some conditions. The QML version that I'm working on will not have any of those problems.

I'm hoping to release something within the next week or two, depending on how long it takes me to implement the account features. I might release a version without any account management at first, so I can get some feedback on video browsing and playback while I implement the other features.

It shows the new search dialog and switching between list view and coverflow view when browsing videos. I will be adding some transitions for switching between windows before the first release. :)

The video was recorded using the QMLViewer recording feature.

I rarely (I'd say never) install apps from extras-devel, but this new version of CuteTube I will for sure, to contribute in the testing.

I hope you finish CuteTube soon, so you can start creating another app :D

The coverflow is nice. Now i wish you can create another app mainly just for viewing PICTURES using the coverflow feature. Nobody EVER created an app for that since the day i bought N900...and i want it.

With 5mp pix it might be bit problematic. Also IMO normal thumbnail view is much faster when earching for pictures and when showing pics it´s better to show them in full screen. I would like to see better image viewer on n900 of course but I try to not get too excited about neat looking things which end up after all being just well neat.
