Apple's getting TomTom to provide the data framework (similar to what Navteq does for Nokia).
Plus they now own some tech from another mob, which Nokia licensed for it's 3D maps.

Well either way.

Nokia alienated most of it's loyal customers with its recent moves.

Sens nokia released nokia suit update for n9 to...sounds there is litle hope for new update to v.1.3 or as a final fw v.2.0xxx or so:rolleyes:

I've been getting a lot of apps update lately on my phone , maybe something related to new firmware being pushed, or as marxian mentioned a while ago developers have been given inside info and they are getting their apps ready for the new firmware.

i got an updated homescreen setting and then another update for this, thats all. doesnt really shout "HEY THERE, A NEW UPDATE IS COMING SOON"

Btw: At the same company a sales person told me that Lumia phones can upgrade to WP8 and will be able to run any Windows 8 application :D So yeah...

Best is to let PR1.3 be a surprise, whatever it brings...
