Either way, you have to install Titan's Power Kernel to be able to run h-e-n. |
Re: [Announce] USB hostmode beta release
Hi guys,
I found a problem with kernel-power g_file_storage module but not sure where to post bug report (problem is that when connected as mass storage device n900 connects in fullspeed instead of highspeed). Does anyone know who is maintaining usb part of kernel-power, i.e. should I file a bug against kernel-power or against h-e-n. Asking because as far as I know tom tanner has just incorporated hostmode fixes in KP46 and this problem seems related to USB. |

h-e-n is only about N900=host. I'm not sure if it's related to power-kernel either. For opening a ticket it would help a lot to exactly find out about prerequisites (which kernel, which steps to take to reproduce), about reproducibility (always, 50%, occasionally...), and to add logs and other helping documentary stuff (lsusb on PC for instance, syslog of N900 and PC) HTH, cheers /j |

And having in mind amount of code in kernel related to hostmode it does not seem impossible (to me at least) that there is some regression introduced with it. |

Re: [Announce] USB hostmode beta release
Hello Everyone,
I am currently trying to run a piece of really cool hardware (http://www.emotiv.com/) using N900. The device comes with a wireless receiver that provides a raw hid data. I have this running on my linux box fine, reading from /dev/hidraw1. I have installed hostmode, everything seems to work fine. I have added to /etc/udev/rules.d/ file epoc.rules Code:
ATTR{manufacturer}=="Emotiv Systems Pty Ltd", ATTRS{product}=="Receiver Dongle L01", NAME="eeg/epoc%2", SYMLINK+="epoc%n" Code:
[19122.457101] usb 5-2: USB disconnect, address 4 Code:
[12307.422149] usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using musb_hdrc and address 25 2) Is there any good soul that maybe have the kernel recompiled with those modules or someone could help me with that? (I'm not a kernel proficient person). Thank you! |
