Just awesome

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note
Quite impressive. 3GB Ram, 32 or 64 GB memory. Hope the screen is as wide as the GN1. A little tired of touch wiz but that is what XDA is for! Like to see how well the camera works. And, yes, I'll probably get it...but what about that watch?

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note
Anybody else notice it has IR? I started looking (hoping) it had 'FM transmitter' written somewhere in the specs.
Edit: Also note how they say 'soft textured back'. Mass produce leather? I don't think so. |
Re: Samsung Galaxy Note
I really don't get why they don't go for some kind of design and out some proper materials there. I understand that it's not easy, but they have the money for something a bit more high end They would absolutely dominate, more than they do now.
All that said, Samsung has the "Note category" nailed. They have created something that's more than just a big screen and improved a lot on Note 3 in that notion. Watching the UI demo really did make me wanna buy it. Multitasking is just so sweet on it. Though I personally can't see myself moving from my tablet + compact phone combo that I see as a perfect fit for me. Vivo Tab (and iPad Mini) + iPhone 5 (and Lumia 920) Quote:
This is all you need to know about the watch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6PCL...utu.be&t=1m43s Unfinished product with no clear concept on what it really should be. It's a watch, would you wear thing like that, and charge it daily like that? Again, it's a watch, it's supposed to be NO HASSLE at all. It will probably need Apple watch to fully realize the concept and then year later see Samsung and some others release similar product with better hardware. |

Note 2 vs Note 3:
http://www.engadget.com/2013/09/04/g...whats-changed/ List of all the changes: (in order of most to least noticeable) - Faux leather back case (I'm not impressed too much) - New software features - Better camera (quality and pixels increased) - Symmetrical S PEN (Fan-tas-tic) - Slightly larger screen (Good, I don't mind it being smaller) - Metal-look sides (the grooves make it look ugly) - Slightly more narrow - Lighter (12g, not sure if noticeable) - Much Faster GPU (Adreno 330 vs Adreno 225/Mali-400) Unnoticeable changes: - Android 4.3 vs 4.2.2 - Faster CPU (2.3GHz vs 1.5GHz) - Higher resolution (720p vs 1080p) - More RAM (3GB vs 2GB) - 3200 vs 3100 mAh battery - 2MP vs 1.9MP front camera |
