Alright, so after a while, my money was removed from my bank for the Nokia order, EXCEPT since the site didn't like my original order, it's not listed as an "order" on my account. Doh!

Update from UK...

People who ordered with Express are awaiting the UPS truck. Most showed as out for delivery from around 5/5:30 am. Looks like same as you guys. Best of luck!!

No, there isn't any deep reason. I'm just happy that the N900 deliveries are coming through. It took long enough from the day we announced that shipments from factory to retailers have started.

The N900 itīs a GREAT device but the MAEMO/NOKIA MARKETING doesnīt work!!! Because the delays ,the ambigous informations and the mistakes In the market in USA (the incompatibility of the Nokia bluetooth headset BH-703 with the N900), maybe you think that this a tiny thing but really you need to be better OK! and iīm not joking! is the truth! you and all the MAEMO/NOKIA team including Ari jaaksi need to do better efforts to suplies the needs of the people because the marketing strategies of the NOKIA N900 WAS WRONG!!!!

Anybody knows what's going on here? I called Nokia Spain on Monday and they said me the N900 just had been released and if I had preordered, they should be sending mine that day. After two days without having any news I called them today again and they said me N900 is getting released this Friday. I preordered mine on October the 7th, and when I see there are people on UK and the US having preordered after this day but getting it before me I start to feel very angry. Apart from UK and the US, are people getting their N900? Specially I would like to hear about people living in Spain.

:D:DHallo, earlier this afternoon the mailman delivered my very own long awaited N900. Its now "suckling", filing its battery paunch. I placed my pre-order on the 2nd of September with the Netherlands Nokia online shop. :D:D:D

I ordered my n900 on September (Spanish nokia store). I am awaiting for the device also...

My September 23rd preorder from NOKIA USA arrived a few minutes ago. It works great. I really like the keyboard. It is charging now. I will play with it more after I get some work done.

Hmm... Newegg has removed the 11/30/09 date. And now it just says Add to cart. Instead of preorder.

Just waiting to see if i get my tracking number soon. I hope so.

My ordering odyssey:

1. Amazon preorder. Disillusioned by unwavering "Not Yet Shipped" status on my order.

2. NokiaUSA. Left bitter and angry at the random holds placed on my account and the unfailing "Authorization Failed" messages popping endlessly in front of me. The bank got involved, and it got ugly. Real ugly.

3. Newegg. "Preorder" button replaced with "Add to Cart" .gif file. I feel like I'm leading a false life, clicking "Add to Cart" and waiting anxiously for my money to disappear and fall away like a house of cards burned up by a match.

Well, other than Nokia screwing Newegg for the Nov 14 release date, Newegg is doing s they have always done. OVER-Delivered! Doesn't surprise me they may get it in my hands by their posted release date. All the other DRAMA has been out of their control.

Finally I got rid of my N86 today, so I have the funds available to order...seeing all the drama that has transpired over the past few weeks/months, if I was to order today...all those who've gone through the drama, who would you reccommend, NewEgg sounds great but their price is highly elevated, I am showing here at work in distribution channels that don't have stock that they have a rate of about $535.00 in the states...so the price of Dell and Amazon is looking real good, but their availability??? Thats a throw up....thoughts anyone?

Keep in mind newegg = no taxes. Dell's price is good until you pile on 10% or whatever the taxes are.

NewEgg is charged me $39 tax...so that is not true for all states

Hmm... Newegg is alot faster about changing there page than NokiaUsa. They have already change the Add to cart back to Preorder. Atleast I got to find out they had stock. :)

Weird, there's a discrepancy between the search results for "n900" and the actual n900 product page on Newegg:

I've already had my card charged by Newegg when I ordered it a few minutes ago from the "Add to Cart" link, so hopefully they actually ship it out tonight. :D
