In the process of making a lockscreen, will share when I am happy with it.

Has any one noticed if you press the power button (to lock) three times instead of two the original lock screen appears?
And if you press the power button four times the device locks then unlocks.
Is it just my device?

I understand that the QT image is over the original lock screen but I assume you should never see the original lock screen.

Also how would you make the operator say the same as the "custom operator name widget"?

I get the three dots in the metadata when using mass storage mode.
Check your config file for the date?

It's "normal". Qt is not fast to draw the gui, so if you press the power button very fast the lockscreen has not yet been rendered.

Is there anyway to hide the original lockscreen at all?

Any ideas on the Operator Name?

The only way would be to rewrite the systemui plugin that displays the original lockscreen.

Sort of.
I have a phone with an Orange SIM but I use "Custom Operator Name Widget" to display different things like Connected, Connecting and Offline.
QtLockscreen always displays Orange as the Operator.

Change your region settings. From settings menu-languages and regions.

Or if you don't want to change your region settings edit the ini file of the theme you're using and add:
