Good work :)

I am not sure if this will help but this apps seems to interact with the alarm. sailfishos-patch-maths-in-alarm github

No, that's just a patch of the UI - it has nothing to do with what Saera needs.

I have made an app that accesses (creates/edits/deletes) alarms from Python. Will share the knowledge once I get home.

Any further info on this? Would be very helpful.

General news: I have got variables working in my parsing/guessing library, giving it essentially all the features I was using from Wit.ai. I am now working on a memory system, so that it doesn't have to do expensive lookups (e.g. what time zone is Paris in, what's the weather tomorrow) if it's already done them recently.

Further progress: the system is able to query the outside world and pull in facts from Wikidata.

yeah, I'm still trying to figure out how to determine which article to use - for example, if the description had been "President of the United States of America", the indefinite article would have been appropriate.

New update: Saera can now read you your emails and set alarms on Sailfish OS.

If you have an N900, you can enable extras-devel and then apt-get install each of them. Harmattan and Sailfish OS do not have stable packages yet.

I have backported Saera v2.0.0 to run on the N900. I am waiting to release it until I can release the Sailfish OS version as well, which is currently on hold - because I still haven't found a working build of pocketsphinx for SailfishOS, and have been unsuccessful at building it myself.

Re: [DEVEL] Saera: Siri clone for Maemo5 and Harmattan

It looks great!

Just one suggestion:

I see that messages are in chronological order from top to bottom, but the input field on SailfishOS is at the top, therefore when you click the field, the keyboard will cover the messages below. If you put the input field at the bottom, if would be easier to reach and the messages would be visible (only pushed upwards like in the Messaging application).

The position of the input field does not matter on the N900, but I'd suggest moving it down on SailfishOS.
