No worries.Here's a little tip. A great place to find new icons, themes, wallpapers, Roms etc. is xda developers http://www.xda-developers.com/ The main page is all the newest contributions to the site. For themes, icons etc. click on forums.
I get a lot of my stuff from here. It is one comprehensive site with loads of great dev's making new stuff all the time. Open and nearly all of it free to use for personal use. With a little bit of modification, most of the graphical stuff can be used for n900 too.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. Xda developers is for android, winmo and wp7 and now webos, but not n900. I just use the stuff meant for other phones.

hey we have the right to steal icons/backgrounds/... from the xda developers, same way they steal from us, i bet they sheck it out this thread all the time, plus there is MORE THAN ONE maemo5 theme for android......
i like what your doing @bigears5000, keep it up, awesome screens by the way .

here is a background for you guys to love, as for me, i'm still having a wallpapers problem, there is no backgrounds that i love !! i'll try gimp with some black carbon fiber background......

Here you go elie mate, I hope they live up to your expectations. Given more time I could have developed individual icons specifically for you, but in the essence of getting you desktops ASAP I simply dropped some in and adjusted to match the style you wanted.

I also know I didn't use the background you linked to but it was kinda flat and wanted to give you the hex look - couldn't find the mesh that you linked to either so opted for this.

It's not Gimp, it's Photoshop, and I still havbe the master file so any jiggery pokery you want done will only take a short time now - the longest thing to do in the first place is to set the file up as you want it. Now I can just drop layers / hide them / change them etc ad nauseum.

here's a quick look from what i have been working on, i'll upload all the screens when i finish installing all the preenv games, and add the missing widgets, and finish my social net screen... bottom line is these wallpapers are awesome, a big thanks to switch .

You use QBW .... so for play button..... Add new command. Tilte " Toggle or play " Then copy and paste the command for toggle where to says command. then just set up the QBW as you would anyother...

Okay i placed 13 battery icons on the MyDocs/.images/queen...folder giving each one a name like battery.png.3 to battery.png.13
but still i have some confusion...

1. new qbw-- beecon, no snippet
2. add cmd
3. paste this script in commad box:

hal-device bme | awk -F"[. ]" '$5 == "is_charging" {chrg = $7}; $5 == "percentage" {perc = $7} END if (chrg == "false") {exit perc/10+3} else {exit 13;}'

4. rename queen-beecon-index.png to battery.png (in the 5th box: >=3)

save and run...
