You're welcome my friend I first saw a Palm Pre version running on a overclocked Pre but I couldn't download the ipk file but luckily I've founded yesterday and even better it's packaged in .deb.

I've forgot to mention when you try to unpack it will complain dependency on libsdl-ttf2.0 just run;

Code:

apt-get install libsdl-ttf2.0

Here is what I've extract from the forum;
Code:

nfshp.elf modify gravity sensor installation : hexedit (source) modify, enter xt to hexedit / opt / preenv, / usr / palm / applications / com.ea.app. nfshp.pre.na / nfshp.elf modify the address of the address 0x5a7214 0x5a7214 press the Enter key (Enter key) input data, the original: F5 FF FF 1A is amended as follows: 00 00 A0 E3 address 0x5a7218 data, original: 05 00 A0 E1 the same instead of the above 00 00 A0 E3 confirm modify the correct answer Y to save, ctrl + x exit
I believe that was the modification they did to the game to make it work.

I check this thread and saw nfshp as working deb. amazing because package does not contain any preenv files, just game files. I wonder if he moddified game files or just the deb make proper config for this game.

Love that game on the touchpad :) That series is much more fun than the NFS games on the mobile platforms.

Have you tried using the method that hadjistyllis posted on the last page?

open xterm
sudo gainroot
chown -R user :users /path/to/file/name

NFSU was the very first game shown as a working example and all issues were resolved with this game in the first few pages of this thread and is extensively documented in the wiki :)

where can download this package from? tried looking for it in repositories and internet and didn't find it.

Re: Preenv webOS games compatibility list

Despite following all guides I was able to find, I still fail to create touchpad->keyboard mapping (so, for example, I would be able to change weapon type in hawx, or bind some key to help me gain pitch&zoom in x-plane games).

OTOH, I know that it is possible, as people already created such mapping for some games (for example, assassins creed)

Could someone post idiot-proof, step-by-step guide on achieving it? Bless you son and enormous thank you in advance - it, actually, bugs me for more than a year, now.

/Estel

In the Preenv wiki it has this entry(http://wiki.maemo.org/Preenv/Game_Compatibility)
Brothers In Arms: Hour of Heroes 1.0.9 -Working-Use control Scheme 2, this is playable.Keyboard mapping maybe necessary

Is "Use control Scheme 2" referring to one of the now lost keyboard binding scripts?

Has anyone ever installed x-plane extreme or helicopter? I see mention of it on
https://developer.palm.com/appredire...xplane-extreme
and
https://developer.palm.com/appredire...pp.xplane-helo
I am sure this has been asked but, how do we buy and get the .ipk to do the install?
Another thought is if the x-plane files from say android or apple, if it uses opengl , could be transplanted into an existing x-plane install?
