Well, we're seeing a clear global trend in mid-october, that seemed to hit Google hard. Microsoft doesn't get hit as hard, but then that's when they should have had their Windows 8 buzz. Apple has lost a bit of confidence and there's a real correction going on with their inflated stock value.

Then Microsoft suddenly lost the leader responsible for Windows 7 and 8, and while this seems to affect Microsoft badly, Nokia, as the only one of these, get an up period.

Jokingly, I'd say that anything that weakens Microsoft, strengthens Nokia. But then that wouldn't really be a joke.

I'm just making up things as we go here, I don't know one end of a stock market from the next.

Grave news... My Blade started acting up yesterday and I ended up buying a LG Optimus 4X HD P880. Decent reviews, bad sales = much cheaper than the SIII. :g

And here's something on topic.
It's the end of the business week in Europe, and Nokia has had a better week than some.

Nokia:

Key partner Microsoft:

Pants owner Google:

And I forget what fruit case this is:

All numbers in $, except Nokia in €.

LUmia 920 seems to be selling well, I cant find it in the USA, except in white. But the way that Nokia is unprepared for mass production of this phone is pathetic. there is an undeniable global demand. I am also worried about QC. There are already complaints about batter life (anything new with NOKIA battery life?), rebooting and bricking (reminds me of N9). I hope its a software glitch that will be fixed in updates. Overall, the outlook is positive. I bought more stock

The battery life has been pin-pointed due to Nokia Maps/Drive running in the background even when not routing (unlike the N9 it doesn't have a GPS power saving mode) as well as Angry Birds Star Wars being put in the background...Some people also blame Nokia Reading...

If you solve the above then it shouldn't be a concern...

QC is another issue altogether; I haven't had a play with one yet so can't say much but from Mynokiablog.com it seems that QC has lagged behind this time round...

Bricking unlike the n9 is much more difficult to solve...

Rebooting is due to Win8 NT kernel being a pita...

See Lumiaman, the above is called objective analysis even if you are not a fan of a particular product unlike you who comes and puts his blinkers on...

? I list the problems above, and you are calling it not objective. Dude, How is N9 selling? The masses have spoken. Even its parents hated it. I am not sure if someone pays you to be blind, man

Undeniable global demand? Really? Let me guess, it's outselling the iPhone in China.

A full charge of my NOKIA/Symbian smartphone lasts 5 days. I'm willing to wager all the Lumias have a more powerful battery. Perhaps NOKIA should forward this document to Microsoft posthaste.

Actually it reminds me of every Microsoft OS I've ever used. When the updates start coming through you'll probably be able to add dawdling to that list.
