Nokia Retail is operated by Mobile Phones Direct Ltd, Nokia UK's branded retail store partner.

Outstanding customer service, advice and choice is our aim, and as you would expect from Nokia, our stores offer quite simply the biggest range of Nokia handsets and genuine Nokia accessories anywhere in the UK. We're still expanding so should you not have a local Nokia store, don't worry as we can dispatch directly to your door.

As pay monthly and pay as you go specialists, we can connect or upgrade your phone to a huge selection of price plans from Vodafone, T-Mobile or the 3 networks. Should you want to contact us to discuss your existing mobile phone contract or keeping your mobile number please email webshop@nokiaretail.co.uk or call our friendly sales team on 0845 470 4000.

Registered office c/o:
Nokia Retail
The Courtyard Business Centre
Farmhouse Mews
Thatcham
Newbury
Berkshire
RG18 4NW

VAT Number: 614977511

Please note that the offers and promotions on this website may not be available at the Nokia flagship stores which are operated directly by Nokia.

That makes it clear that Nokia Retail and Nokia are not the same. Especially the last line. Although they say they are Nokias partner in the UK. Hopefully this elucidates matters.

noooo Mobile Phones Direct Ltd is just a off website that "affiliates" (advertises) Nokia Retail and Nokia Retail is the MAIN retail of Nokia (basically part of the actual company) :/

MPD is not an affiliate, advertising site, it is an another company that sells for Nokia.. pretty much like Carphonewarehouse or Phones4u but when you click links on MPD for N900, it directs you to Nokiaretail for purchase :/

looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooool

This is crazy but people will believe what they want to believe :p

To the guy who phoned Nokiaretail and got told that they are a part of nokia I have just one question...

How gullable are you? What do you expect them to say?

"Damn! You got me!" :D

Bottom line to everyone who's orederd through NokiaRETAIL.co.uk

I promise you this. I'll be in this thread posting pics of my linux device and you...

You'll be waiting for dec 3rd just like carphonewarehouse thelink and phones4u.

If you still refuse to believe me just ring nokia. The official nokia

Heres the number 0800 331 6021

And ask them if they work with or have even heard of nokiaretail or mpd.

I guarantee you they haven't
:D

Payments won't show up neccessarily until the end of day they are journalled to the merchant account. The transaction can be authorised and appear later in certain circumstances depending on the merchant arrangements.

For a Monday delivery, assuming Saturday dispatch, you wouldn't neccessarily see the charge on the account until end of play on Monday as the weekend isn't a banking day so transactions sometimes queue.

Personally I would guess that a Monday pickup is more likely than a Saturday one though.
