Ob sicher der Bestellstatus ändert, falls die N900s verschickt werden ist aber wohl fraglich, oder? Wäre ja schön irgendwann zu erfahren, ob das Ding schon auf dem Weg ist, damit man auf alle Fälle zuhause ist, wenn die Lieferung kommt.
Ganz toll ist auch, dass sich die Versandart nicht ändern lässt.

The first batch is already sold out and the shop ordered a second batch of N900s.

Hopefully they get it soon. Ordered on 30.9. there, so i could be on an early list place.

Basicly they do not know when it will be available, but they think soon.

The only strange thing seem to be the claim that they get the phone from a distributor in the US. Strange....

It says: Tenative delivery date: 27.11.2009

According to the press release of Nokia Austria the N900 is available by end of november. We don't have a Nokia operated store here. So they have to ship it to distributors. I think the date ist true. They want to have it in stores on monday the 30th.

I think germany will get it a bit earlier. Somtimes this week maybe.

Let's hope it's the same date for switzerland...!!! :-D

There's been an interesting discussion going on at digitec's commentary page for the n900, don't know if you have been following it. I'm quoting some bits here:

Nett war es dennoch, dass Nokia mich telefonisch kontaktiert hat.
Fazit: Nokia-Care DE weiss nicht, wie die deutsche Tastaturbelegung aussieht und weiss nicht wann die Geräte in die Schweiz kommen. Sie wissen nur, dass am 25.11. diese in Deutschland ausgeliefert werden.

Das stimmt allerdings, ich hatte Nokia.de auch über die Tastaturbelegung ausgefragt Anfang September. Die Dame sagte es wären alle Pfeiltasten normal angeordnet wie in der Englischen Version. Ich gehe aber davon aus, da es auf Youtube ein Video gibt, dass die Pfeiltasten wie auf den Skandinavischen N900s aussehen... Nicht so schlimm, man kann ja die Tastenbelegung ändern.

a friend send a mail to expansys.de to get further knowledge. they have a n900 as EU qwerty version listed and we try to find out if it is true or just a fault as expansys has the same device version listed in all of their shops. We are looking for the standard keyboard layout. If someone knows another store in Germany who stocks this post a link or PM me, please.
expansys.de didn't reply yet and I will call them end of this week if there is no reply till thursday.

I think 25th is the day for nokia shipping but I am still concerned that the other retailers will ship that early as most of them tell first week of december... or nothing!

expansys is selling devices with english QWERTY layout.

i asked expansys.at a couple of weeks ago and they confirmed that it's qwerty.

here is a new review...its very positiv...and you can see that the german layout is qwertz with 2 arrows and ö,ä,ü
