Re: Mugen Power Batteries
I hope mugen will release another model which will fit in original cover ,or somethink smaller
this think is ugly ,expansive, and unusable for me :/ I have an 4000mAh external charger ,can do 2 and 1/2 charge for them whos interested - find your local distributor :) price ~ $66 http://www.energizerpowerpacks.com/us/products/xp4000/ |
Re: Mugen Power Batteries
making the N900 that big is ridiculous.... and carrying huge bettery packs too?? why doesnt anyone just buy a spare genuine nokia bl5j pack. they take up no space at all... i even fit one in my wallet!
and, A grade ones go on ebay for about £5.... i know, i bought some (and these are real... but i did get some fakes, they ended up for free too! ) |
Re: Mugen Power Batteries
I bought a cheap pair of batteries from ebay for $9 and they help me through long trips just fine.

Re: Mugen Power Batteries
I'd definitely buy this, if the photo alignment can be explained.
Hopefully it is better than the original and removes the photo haze issue with the Nokia cover.... |

Also, cheap fake batteries can end up f****** up your N900, I heard a lot of stories of people who had a lot of problems with aftermarket batteries, just google it! I think the battery pack is definitely a good choice, but sure it's more expensive... |

Re: Mugen Power Batteries
i'm in agreement with the majority here - it is overpriced (£56 at discount price, £61 at full price, not including any import taxes), it is massive.
i have a spare BL-5J battery, and a Lil' Sync 4400mAh USB battery pack for emergencies. An official Nokia BL-5J battery costs £20 and is 1320mAh. You could buy two of those (so you have 3 batteries in total) and have 3960mAh for less than the cost of this. not to mention the fact that they expect first shipment on March 1st and still do not have actual photos. March 1st is just under 3 weeks away |

And yes, that applies to the 1800mAh mugen batteries for N8x0. I bought one of those and it was 1200mAh (now 1000mAh today a year or so old I think). |
Re: Mugen Power Batteries
awww cmon, takes seconds to swap batteries over...
and as for fakes, i don use them... i just said i got em free.... ordered batteries, contacted ebayer "this battery looks fake".... instant refund, no questions asked!.... was going to dismantle and see whats in them... And as for "A graders" they will be genuine batteries, that maybe have a mark on them or evidence theyve been fitted. the 2 i got last longer than the one i got with my N900. |
