This new update seem to be very sluggish and laggy. Sometimes you have to keep pressing to get thing run or switch. For example: SMS

I think 42.11 is better than 51.1

The new FW is not sluggish on my device. Note, however, that the SMS and call log are now always-available so they are rendered at start-up, along with everything else (media, images, etc). Have you tried a battery-removed boot? Also, give it a day to finish doing what it's doing, then reboot again. Tomorrow?

This actually seems to be a slightly mo subtle change. Prior to the update an entry in the call list when clicked showed all the possible contact numbers, Skype or Traditional. Now the list seems to note the number used to call you. I guess the idea is that you can use the same number as was used to call you.

I like it!

I cannot play any of my previous videos I had on the device. They all say "Unable to play media. MEdia format not supported."

Try to uninstall OGG codecs and other 3rd party codecs and reinstall it again. Somebody reported that it helped.

Check that you didn't login to mfe from another host on the same network - I had a similar problem with Yahoo! Mail and it disappeared after I logged off yahoo on my notebook.

my email and contacts on MfE and google works like a charm now but as soon as I turn the calenday sync on it says "please check the user name and password" or something like that and gives an error, I uncheck the calendar and works fine again.

This has room for improvement.

Yes, you're right. This makes sense.

I don't really like the pop-up menu. First, "delete" is ambiguous: is it delete from the recent calls list, or from the address book? Second, it makes you take an extra step, no matter whether you want to delete or open the contact card.

Here's one way to eliminate the pop-up menu. First, make the "delete" command the last item in the list of ways to respond. That is, tap an entry in the call log, and get a menu like this:

Call xxx-xxx-xxxx
SMS xxx-xxx-xxxx
Delete xxx-xxx-xxxx

Now that the delete is available without the pop-up menu, remove the pop-up menu altogether so that if you keep the call log entry pressed, it opens the contact card directly.
