Wow, Joiku really has the guts to not put any sort of anti-piracy measure on this software. In any case, I bought it for 7 euros, and I'm probably going to get dinged by my credit card for the currency exchange fee. This is likely to be an app I'll be grateful for having during my travels.

Bought it, working great so far (1 day), will report later if problems emerge. Hopefully they sell a lot, would like to see N900 emerge as a target platform for more commercial developers as well.

Also bought the software. However it seems it does not work together with my macbook. If I disable encryption my macbook gets a correct IP address (192.168.2.20) but is not able to communicate with any host. Also it cannot ping the default gateway 192.168.2.1
The released joiku version is more stabe than the beta version. I had no single crash of the software on the n900. I had a lot of crashes with the beta version. But it still seems not to work together with my macbook.

Hmmm thtas an odd one.

Seems to be working fine for me, had a few people connected earlier today. definitley more stable (Don't forget the initial reboot after install)

Superb on 3.5g :D - does eat the battery still! but not suprised

Second day of using it, no reboot, works flawlessly. Btw, i did not have the beta version install before. First time installed.

It seems to work now. However I have to stop my openvpn connection first. Then I'm able to surf the web.
Anyone else having this problem?

Edit: Works fully now even with openvpn up and runnung. I had an old route entry on my openvpn server for 192.168.2.0 :-)

I watched a youtube video about the beta and they said that it would use your current internet connection for tests. Doesnt that look like an IMEI check of sth like that?

Since they never asked for the IMEI, I can't see how they're going to check it.

Premium version works like a charm! Installed fine, easy to configure and fast to use. I use it with ubuntu karmic and win 7, no problems/bugs so far.

Buy it. its cheap as bread!
