I found the solution:

X-terminal:

mafw.sh stop mafw-gst-eq-renderer
sudo mafw.sh start mafw-gst-eq-renderer -7

I have to do this after every system restart.

Re: Are there any Music Players with an Equalizer?

New version of Symfonie now looks much better. Also allows you to enable/disble the equalizer and selectmfile types. Uses much less cpu with eq disabled as well. This is now getting very close to the media player i want.

What I would like to see:
- Gradual volume increase during auto-resume of music.
- Eq presets / custom save
- Theme color independant. So it always looks same.

Re: Are there any Music Players with an Equalizer?

Does the 3430 chipset have hardware EQ, or even basic treble and bass support? An EQ being ran through software emulation is pointless and would be a resource problem.

Nevermind- the 3430 DOES have hardware EQ support. My Archos 5 has the same chipset and the specs do list an EQ. Since the 3430 has an EQ and Maemo is supposed to be "open", why so hard for to implement without being a resource hog?
