One thing I noticed was that when you switch the device on, there will be a white light. Before the update it used to be green and blue (blinking and switching very quickly) but now It is purely white. Must be my imagination...

That reminds me, gotta test the notification light mangager.

I can understand them removing links to the files, and asking that they don't be reposted.

What I don't understand is closing the thread. Now people will find info about the leaked fw elsewhere, possibly without getting accurate info about what it acualliy is, then later they come back and complain that "Nokia sux because I installed 1.2 and it broke {some program}". There is already enough complaining as it is.

It really was my imagination, the white light can be achieved by blinking all the three (RGB) leds continuosly. But yeah, pattern light editor or whatever that is seems to be working as well as before. I wonder what would not work after the update more than what works...

Try pressing ctrl + shift + o at the same time which activates it. After that press the "thank you" button on this post :) so it will surely work...
