Let me make a suggestion.

It could be a good addition for Custom Ringtones if we could define an eSpeak based ringtone for one or more contacts, or groups of contacts.

Actually there is an application named eSpeakCaller that adds a speech with the name of the contact to the actual ringtone. Apart from being a little buggy (and very slow) I think that only the speech without the tone could be easier to understand.

I'm using Control Panel ProfilesX to add others profile.
The app is fully working with silent and general mode

Should be possible to make this app compatible with ProfilesX Extended Profile Manager ?
In this way you will have the same structure of "old" symbian phones ( custom ringtone for every contact, and custom default ringtone depending from profile )
Is it an heavy request? :D

When I have someones profile set to silent is it possible to make the phone not vibrate either?

I just uploaded a new version of mycontacts to extras-devel that will allow you to completely remove mycontacts from handling incoming calls/ring tones.

(*) I don't know for a fact that mycontacts and this application are incompatible but if you are managing ring tones by contact chances are you don't need to also manage them by group.

It would be nice to have this work like on my E90 - Ringtone then speak name then ringtone , etc.

The added options in Contacs settings, to assign ringtones to numbers not in contacts and to hidden numbers, don't work. Those calls still get the default ringtone. Other than that, it works like a charm, though it would be good to be able to set a custom sms tone as well...

One suggestion. Is there a way to have the ringtone play at max volume? I just missed a call when the ringtone played very softly....
