Having the same issue here, after updating the app. Crashes straight back to desktop on launch.
I'll have a try via xterm and report back as soon as I can.

PS. Not liking the new icon either, can we have the old one back please?

Cheers.

Is there a possibility that the compass feature can include a toggle between deg and mils?

Maybe, if enough people ask for it. I didn't think many people use it :)

Hmmmmm, maybe I'm getting s/thing wrong. Xterm is coming back with “opt/usr/bin/columbus not found”.

Really? I didn't like the old icon much, I'm not particularly happy with this one either, expect it to change a few more times :P

Thanks for this nice app

There is something wrong with v 0.9.0-1

Code:

Nokia-N900:/# opt/usr/bin/columbus
opt/usr/bin/columbus: error while loading shared libraries: librxsupport.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

However there is a link to librxsupport.so.1 in /opt/usr/lib/

Hrm, okay, can you validate that there's a line in /etc/ld.so.conf containing "/opt/usr/lib" and if so, can you run ldconfig as root.

Just checked, mine just has "usr/lib/microb-engine" and "usr/lib/microb-engine/components".

Sounds like you're all well on the way to fixing the problem.
I'll just sit and twiddle my thumbs patiently until the next update.:D
