Just select Opera and then close the browser and reopen it and it will then use the old Opera browser.

Anyone else found the "bug" where the keyboard won't stay open if the browser is in full-screen mode with the toolbar hidden?
Time to go search through the bugs I guess...

Yes, I mentioned it higher up.... press the center d-pad to open the finger keyboard instead (as a temporary work around until it's fixed proper).

There is a rendering issue on the NYT homepage. Specifically the videos portion is now showing scrollbars.

This is a BIG update. :) It was enough to get me to de-lurk and post. The new browser is faster and more responsive. The browser cache works just like in firefox and when you hit the back button it's instant.

I just checked and logmein.com will now work. Which is great because I Use that as the easy way to do remote help for friends and family. It wouldn't work with opera or minimo.

I'm sure there are bugs and somethings are broken but an open source mozilla based browser has been needed for a while. Extensions will make this even better.

It's one more thing that the iphone doesn't have. :)

I am very happy about the wellsfargo.com access, but the bug mentioned about the keyboard not working well at full screen, makes me crazy. Without a doubt, if that one thing was fixed, I'd be the happiest guy in my home (which I am the only one :) ) Keep up the good work whoever you people are.

I forgot, give me a working adblock extension and I'll kiss your feet.

Hmmm, I lost the ability to scroll by dragging my finger on the screen on some pages (eg Wikipedia). I have to use the scrollbars to scroll the page :(

I'm not seeing this option, can you be more explicit?

Bearly got myseld to write this post. It seems to have problem with the backspace button and some webpages such as youtube.com are not being rendered properly. Many other small problems, but who could blame them, they did state this was not even beta ready.

Please make sure you go to the link in my post above and comment on it.
The more people who comment on this bug over there, the higher up in priority it will climb and the faster the focus on fixing it will be.

I find Privoxy works well enough for me, of course I tweaked it to have the same configuration as the one running on my Macbook Pro.

Open up the drop-down menu inside the browser itself and look for the last option at the bottom of the list. It will say "Set Engine".

Open the application menu by pressing the Menu button or by clicking in the application title area. Below the "Close" menu item is a new menu item "Set engine".

EDIT: iball beat me to it... I really should stop opening new posts in tabs - by the time I get round to replying I'm usually well beaten! :)
