faced this while uninstalling this: Nokia-N900:~# apt-get --purge --auto-remove remove fennec

Mohammed try this im not sure if it will solve it :

sudo gainroot
rm /usr/bin/fennec

then :
apt-get remove fennec

hope this is it.

and this is your problem ! how did you install fennec and which version ??

do this if you installed fennec from the first post (V.8)

extract this archive in /home/user/ then in x-terminal :
1- sudo gainroot
2- cp fennec /usr/bin/
3- apt-get remove fennec

i had v8 installed but today i again installed the v12 nightly because i thought then i could remove it. it overrited the v8 to nightly. so i gess i hav got v12 now. but then i faced problem. this is the new problem after i tried ur method::
