It didn't for me, or more precicely it said libcurl3 is already installed but still can't upload photos (I'm not using the widget). Tried removing/adding back FB sharing connection but couldn't validate username/pwd, also had settings app crash after a couple of validation attempts.

I've tried all tips in this thread and I still have this issue as well.

Im not using CSSU and 'apt-get install libcurl3' fixed the problem.

Even I still have the same problem that i can't share photos to facebook directly even after having the share to facebook option available.

Photos just wouldn't upload to facebook.Yes i did try after installing libcurl3 too..

But i can share to Flickr.So i just linked my Flickr account to Facebook to get the uploads sorted on FB.
