maemo.org - Talk - [Announce] kernel-power stable v52 in Extras

updated kernel-power-settings and ke-recv.

This replaced my customized osso-mmc-mount mmc-mount rcS-late genfstab...ecc.. (i have a mix of ext3 and ext4 filesystems)

Rebooted with fingers crossed.. ALL FINE!

Every partition (and filesystem type) has been correctly detected and mounted in the right place.

WARNING: before updating system-services first update kernel-power-settings (otherwise device can be unbootable).

hi could you provide hackedmodule for kp52 which doesn't depend on cover magnet sensor (always reporting closed?).

someone did a hack for kp48 but i believe it would be incompatible with kp52.

i need it because my second phone i believe has broken sensor :P

It could be a coincidence, but could it be possible, that kernel-power-setting 0.17 is somehow related to the increased battery drain in some cases?
